No, "Lucy and Desi: Before the Laughter" was NOT the only made-for-TV movie about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. There was a movie that came out in 2003 simply called "Lucy" that starred Rachel York as Lucille Ball and Danny Pino as Desi Arnaz. While not fantastic, it is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the highly inaccurate and TERRIBLE "Lucy and Desi: Before the Laughter". Frances Fisher was AWFUL as Lucille Ball in that film and Maurice Benard was simply a caricature of Desi Arnaz. Seriously, I only watch that movie if I'm in the mood to scream at something and punch the TV screen.
