Why the Actors change:
There are 3 distinct reasons why they change....
-They get too old for their part (in the case of Sean Connery)
-They are too busy to play that part/they don't want to play it
-The fictional story changes the look of the Bond character (in the case for Pierce Brosnan)
Fictionally, it's hard to describe, because Fleming (in his books that inspired the movies), he made Bond an agent in the WWII era... Then there are the movies, which are even MORE complicated, because some of them take Flemings storys and portray them in a more modern time. Bond is usually 37, and 00 Agents usually retire at 45... So, the movies make the book even more confusing. There are so many other theories that fans have been debating much like fans debate the Legend of Zelda series... It doesn't have a linear timeline, and no conclusive timeline, so the TRUE answer will never be known....
