What's the difference between collage and photomontage?
I have a photography project and was wondering.
What I think:
The collage is using my photographs and the photo-montage may include external photographs like from a magazine.
Montage is slide overlay... Collage is picture overlay
With Montage, one image appears over and is included in the other... two slides or negatives overexposed scanned on top of each other to produce a single image.
Collage is end result overlapping of images.
