what is the best way to animate stickfigures in flash pro 8?
I have bought Flash Pro 8 and I can't animate stickfigures frame by frame. I can't make the sticks the same! Is there any other way to animate them
Draw your stick figure in frame one. Then select frame two, right click, then hit convert to keyframe. You'll see that frame two is now an exact copy of frame one. Now change frame two to whatever you want it do be like and repeat this process for frame 3. Then just do that for your entire animation and that is one way to do frame by frame.
Also, (this is a more complicated method) there is a tool you can use called the onion skin. It's the button directly to the right of the trash can in the layer area. select the all of the frames you want to animate and then press that button. You will notice two things that look like curly brackets on the first and last frames you have selected.
Now if you've made your onion skin frames 1-10 and you draw a stick figure in frame one, you will notice that while in frame one everything will appear as normal, but go to frame 2 and you will see a lightened version of the stick figure you drew in frame one. You can make very realistic animations using the onion skin because you can see everything that has happened in your previous frames. Hope this helps.
