poker question!?
i love to play texas hold'em, i play casually usually dong well but last weekend i went to a tournament and came out with 900 bucks. my question is, which website is the best as far as playing to show skills and possibly one day be sponsored to go to the WSOP or WPT? Which one has the most 'perks" i guess you could say to being associated with it....im only 19 right now so i cant play all tournys but hey i turn 21 in one and a half years, so i need to get started now. anyway, any imput would be great...ps, for all you poker guys, i sign in as UNTstud on fulltilt.com as of right now, and will likely try to keep it wherever i go next.....so beware!!!
whats up man i relate with you a lot i just turned 21 and i said the same stuff. You usually have to do something really big b4 your gonna get sponser. you cant just win a few tournies online for 500 and 1000 bucks. i started online when i was 17 have had a couple other jobs since but the last year just playing. back when i was 17 i thought i was the best and the results showed...i was making money i only thought they showed. i just recently had a breakthrough and went from a good player to a world class player. so no matter how good you are/think you are your gonna get better. i learn something everyday and now its starting to pay off. but tournies arent where your gonna make your money either cash games...get good at them, read super system 2 about 35,000 times...it'll change your life. then if you still want to get in a tourney...wpt has tournies every year outside of us where the age is 18. and full tilt has a winners choice tourney every saturday...200 dollar buy in...feeders 2 it if you dont wanna pay the 200 and like 1 out of 65 are going to wpt of your choice. so you could get in that
