What do you think about Star Wars: The Clone Wars?
I've been watching the Clone Wars series for a pretty long time now. And I really like it. Even though it is a cartoon, I think it is suitable for people from all ages to watch it. Who is your favorite character? What do you think will happen in the next episodes and how many seasons do you think the series will last? I will be thankful if you answer my question. I apologize for my English but it is not my first language.
I have to say that it is mind boggling to hear some people to say that the animation is horrible. Of course they are welcome to their opinions but if you listen to the "movers & shakers" in the biz you will find that most are blown away by the animation ... different strokes for different folks I guess.
As for what do I think of the show itself ... pretty much loving it. The biggest reason for that, IMHO, is that it has returned to what made the OT so great ... the story telling. In the prequels the story took a back seat to the special effects that were used. In the OT the story was the most important part and the special effects were used to drive that point home. The OT had a swashbuckling three musketeers feel to it that was sorely missing in the prequels. The Clone Wars show is bringing that back along with telling us all that we ever wanted to know about what happened during the Clone Wars ... things that couldn't be shown in the movies due to time constraints.
"scott4Andrea" is right on with what he says in response to your other questions. The only thing I can add to it is the fact that I'm pretty sure that the show will last more than what is needed for syndication since it is always near the top in ratings. If they keep giving us good stories then we'll keep watching ... start doing gimmick and other "dumb" things and the fan base will be gone in short order.
