What should I expect? What should I wear (casual, formal etc...)? What should I say to Scott Weiland? What are the do's and don'ts?
I am going to Scott Weiland's book signing event on May 24th at West Hollywood. The event will be held at Book Soup.
@Penelope He is the lead singer of the rock band Stone Temple Pilots, He is the former lead singer of the band Velvet Revolver. He wrote a memoir.
What should say to him? lol I know I am overthinking this way too much.
DO wear comfy shoes. You're going to do a LOT of waiting and standing in line.
DO bring friends. It helps the time go by!
DO bring a camera. Don't be afraid to ask for a shot!
DO thing about what you want the author to write in your book.
DON'T get there at the time of the signing unless you want to wait in a long line. Unless it's a raffle or ticket situation, the earlier you get the better.
DON'T forget to buy the book! You would be amazed as to how many people don't bring their own books.
DON'T forget to check with the location to ensure you can bring a book on the grounds. Some bookstores force you to buy THEIR books to participate in the book signing.
DO bring a little gift. You would be amazed at how nice it is for authors to get little gifts from fans.
